AUSTRIA BANKNOTES WITH ALPINE VALLEYS

 

 

The 20 schillings banknote of Austria (above) shows the Alpine valley of Semmering formed by a glacier and slightly altered by running water; the Austrian 10 schillings banknote issued in 1945 (below) presents another Alpine glacial valley. The Austrian 100-schillings banknote issued in 1947 (bottom) has a picture of a glacial valley with terraces and a mountainous lake.
