  Post-glacial lakes and landscape of the Aukđtaitija National Park in Eastern Lithuania, the stamp issued in 1999.

Aukđtaitija National Park was established in 1974. It occupies 40 500 ha. The most spectacular landscapes of Eastern Lithuania with 126 lakes and numerous of forested mounds are situated in the territory of the park. The purpose of the park is to preserve extraordinary rich variety of animate nature, ethnic cultural heritage, to increase cognitive tourism and to educate the society in ecology.
