I did not find information about this localisation in internet; if you know an URL of a site describing this prehistoric flint mine, please, let me know: akozl@geo.uw.edu.pl.

Pertinent to
LENGFELD, Germany: on January 7, 2004, I received this very kind letter, which I copied below:

Hello there,
your site is looking great, congratulations. On the map of most important flint mines in Europe I saw you were looking for information on the prehistoric mining site of Lengfeld in Germany. One minor error: it is spelled LEngfeld, and not LAngfeld. If you search for Lengfeld and flint with Google, the most relevant hit you get is our page on the subject: www.flintsource.net/flint/D_lengfeld.html
You might have a look at our page on Tata too, even if it still lacks most content, there is more to bee seen than on the page of the museum at the site: http://www.flintsource.net/radio/H_tata.html
We visited the site of Hov last year, but haven't made the page available yet, I will drop you a line as soon as it goes online.
 Greetings,
 Rengert Elburg
 FlintSource.net

I really copied the error in the name of the German location from an old printed source. I am very indebted for the correction and for the URL given kindly to me by Regnert Elburg from FlintSource.net. I made the necessary change and new links.
My thanks once more to Regnert Elburg.
