Jaskinia z ładnymi stalaktytami ma 95 m długości, 30 m
szerokości i 25 m wysokości; była znana już w czasach starożytnych. Wyspa
Antiparos (37ºN, 25º6'E, starożytna nazwa Oliaros) należy do
archipelagu Cykladów na Morzu Egejskim i jest oddzielona od wyspy Paros płytką
cieśniną. Na wyspie Antiparos urodzili się słynni rzeźbiarze helleńscy
Fidiasz i Praksyteles, których imiona legendy wiążą także z jaskinią.
The cave with beautiful stalactites is 95 m long, 30 m wide and 25 m high; it
has been known since the ancient times. The island of Antiparos (37ºN, 25º6'E,
ancient name Oliaros) belongs to the Archipelago of Cyclades in Aegean Sea and
is separated fro the island of Paros with a shallow strait. On the island of
Antiparos the famous Hellenic sculptors, Phidias and Praxiteles, were born, and
some tales join their names with the cave.
