Research topics:

  • Stratigraphy: facies and stratigraphic analysis of the Cambrian, Upper Silurian, Devonian and Carboniferous of the Holy Cross Mts. and the Ukraine, Devonian of Morocco and Sub-Polar Urals; Devonian and Carboniferous of the Lublin Upland; Jurassic of the Polish Tatra Mts., Cretaceous of Europe, Asia, North America and Madagascar.

  • Palaeogeography: biogeographic analysis of Cambrian trilobites, Devonian and Carboniferous conodonts, Cretaceous ammonites, inoceramids and belemnites

  • Palaeontology: taxonomy and evolution of Cambrian and Silurian trilobites, Devonian stromatoporoids, Devonian and Carboniferous conodonts, Carboniferous algae, Cretaceous ammonites,  inoceramids and belemnites; Cambrian and Devonian trace fossils 

  • Sedimentology: facies analysis of Upper Silurian deposits of the Holy Cross Mts. and the Podolia (Ukraine), Devonian, Carboniferous and Jurassic carbonates; Devonian and Carboniferous clastic deposits of the Holy Cross Mts. and the Lublin Upland; neptunian dykes - their origin and infilling history; late diagenesis of carbonate rocks
